Custom T-Shirts Style Guide for First Time Buyers

Whenever buying something that is made to order, it is important to plan your purchase, lest you will end up with a bulk of items that are in the wrong size, colour, design or lacking or in excess of a significant number of units. Here are some things you should remember when buying custom shirts for the first time:

•  There are numerous places where you can get custom shirts from, especially when you go online. Choose a company that has a good reputation for the services and products they offer so you can be sure that you will receive the products you need at the promised time. Find a company that has years of experience in manufacturing the kind of bulk order you require so you won't have to sacrifice quality for fast turnaround or for cheaper prices.

•  In terms of style and customisation, many companies sell made-to order shirts that can only be customised at a certain extent. Best go with an actual shirt manufacturer that can accommodate the style variables that you need. While branded shirts do offer good quality, you can't really do much to customise them, but add graphics or logos to make the shirt your own.

•  Your choice of fabric is also important, especially when producing shirts that are intended for active work. Pure cotton shirts tend to absorb and keep sweat and they change size and shape in the wash. Polyester blends, on the other hand, are more resistant to the rigours of washing. When purchasing shirts online, it is a good idea to buy at least a size larger than your normal purchase to allow room for some shrinkage, especially if you must use cotton for the pieces you are ordering.
